Hi, I love to play guitar and sing folk / gospel / country / rock songs. I play for the seniors who are lonely, for my family, for members of my church and for the joy it bring to my heart. I'm recently married and just gave birth to my first child. My Husband Sam plays guitar but, he doesn't sing. My little sister sings and plays piano. My brother David can play just about anything. He's good on the piano and likes playing the harmonica. I hope to find others who play and like to sing.

Influences
John Prine, God bless his soul. He has greatly influenced my fingerstyle and I love singing his songs. Johnny Cash is right there although the Carter Sisters probably have been a larger influence. Chris Kristofferson's Why Me Lord is one of my songs. I like old Steven Foster songs, Woody Guthrie, Tom T. Hall, Tanya Tucker's Would You Lay With Me, One of my first songs was Red River Valley done by Andy Griffin. I sing Old Dan Tucker and Almeda Riddle songs for Kids. It's all about the joy I can bring to others. I ain't planning to be famous.

EQUIPMENT
I've got about a dozen different Guitars (all types), a couple of bass guitars, amps, mics, etc. I own a banjo that I can almost play some of the time, a violin I may never learn, a viola I played a long time ago, half a dozen ukuleles, we have PA / speakers, five or six pianos and a couple of keyboards, two cats and a new puppy.
