ABOUT

I am first and foremost a songwriter. I would say lyracist but it's more then just the words, I hear the tune. I;m 46 married and father of 3. Our youngest headed out to college in 2010 leaving just my wife and I. I have always wanted to write but my obligations to family made me put dreams on the back burner for a job that would pay my bills. Now I want to live some of those dreams. As a young student I was obviously different and the state of florida tested me to learn why. They say my IQ is 149 and I'm a genius. I say I just dont like school. I have been encouraged by my wife to put that genius to work. I'm looking for a musical partner or partners to help me do just that. My vocals are fairly strong, but it's my writing I think has a chance.

Influences

My mother was a fan of light jazz and country, but I am the youngest of 6 boys and soon learned the joy of rock. The overdramatic often melancholy laments of Pink Floyd started my albumm collection. The Doors, Moody Blues, and Jethro Tull joined the favorites of my youth. I was so much older then however and am much younger then that now. I find the simpler easy sounds of country more moving. The lyrics can be simple while the message can be strong. Roger Waters can lament the ways of war and politics while I have regressed to the simpler joys of family, love, and at times faith. I myself not attending any religion, but happy to make a joyous noise.

EQUIPMENT

Absolutely nothing beyond my voice and my mind.
