I am 18y/o, recently moved to LA. I grew up in a musical family, and picked up drums at the age of 3 influenced by Jo Jones, Elvin Jones, Max Roach, Buddy Rich, and rock drummers such as Keith Moon - The Who, Ginger Baker - Cream, and Mitch Mitchell - the experience. Also teaching myself blues and folk guitar, piano and slap bass. Bands started at 14, when I joined a punk band in Chicago, which I would bus 3 hours every weekend to play with. After 2 years we broke up and I really focused more on my playing as a jazz musician, transferring from Wisconsin to an arts school in LA. I am now enrolled at LAVC, am a part time model, and gigging part time as a jazz drummer. I now would like to become involved again, in the madness of punk, rock, hip hop and/or more jazz.
