ABOUT

Seeking Male/Female - - Siouxsie? Iggy? Liz Fraser? Gavin Friday?
Seeking Bass : Drums : Keys : Throat

My favorite LP of all time is called Live at the Witch Trials by a band called The Fall. This was their debut LP and what astonished me the most is that this 11 song album was recorded in 1 (ONE!!!)
8-hour day over 40 years ago, and the fact that 3 of the 5 members were still in their TEENS (!) save the singer and guitarist who were both 20, it still sounds as fresh and vibrant today as it did on release in 1979, and I’ve never heard anything that’s bested it or even approximated it. Well maybe Crystal Castles’ debut LP. So there’s THAT.

Now then.

--Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and witnessed early Devo 20 minutes away in Akron, Ohio in 1974-5; SOLD!!

-- Became friends at age 15 to Jimmy Zero of the Dead Boys (before they left for NYC in 1976).

--“Adopted” by local artists Pere Ubu and Human Switchboard in Summer 1976 (I was the only Black punk in town, lol)

-- At age 24 to his age 19, befriended Doug Gillard of the utterly fantastic Children's Crusade, who went on to Death of Samantha, Cobra Verde, Nada Surf and finally Guided by Voices fame . . .

“Blacksheep", "Coven” and “Remedy” were from a project called Trauma Doll with Sirena (Throat) and me (Guitar/Bass/Keys/Drum/Tapes) active December 2017 through November 2018, when it ceased to be. Before and since Trauma Doll, I dabble in Electronica so you’ll find the last 2 or 3 are from my alter ego, Thunderclap Headache, on SoundCloud.

**Image 9 of 11: Ms. Sirena shutting the show down, with Image 10 being Sirena in character as 'The Wraith' in our film called 'No Room' which aired in 2018's Tacoma Film Festival.

SUMMARY: A female-fronted cross between the Sex Pistols & Siouxsie and the Banshees. I’m not too old to embrace it; are you too weak to face it?
