SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist, Vocalist - Tenor, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboard, Piano, Upright bass.ABOUT
Life-long drummer dusting off the equipment after kids graduated and getting back into playing again, still working full time, can practice in the evenings and weekends but ultimately will be gigging again...Outdoor, Daytona type festivals and shows preferred.
The weekend bar thing...well have been there, done that...occasionally perhaps Playing any music, any generation with ENERGY is preferred with minimal slow, bluesy or sleepy music, except for the slow dances of course.
Music style...? Great rock-n-roll, NOT that screaming 'krap' that seems to be the current 'death-metal' rage (love the energy in that music), certainly no rap/hhop gbage...but open minded with exceptions, like what Linkin Park did...refreshing mix of everything....Falling in reverse (on XM Octaine) has some great stuff.

Influences
EVERYTHING that gets people dancing and loving the band. In no particular order, old and new like:
Foreigner, System of a Down, Dragonforce, Van Halen, Linkin Park, Night Ranger, Def Leppard, Doors, Zepplin, Bon-Jovi, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith, Foo Fighters, Kenny Chesney, Dirks Bentley, Poison, Nirvana, 70's thru 90's, and like to play Rush, Dream Theater, Yes, AC/DC, Journey, aaannd I was in a classic rock / new country band...people liked that ultimately. You get the point, I guess its up to who can sing what, is what music the band plays well...and MUST play well with singers who do not sing off key....or beyond their range...ughh....just being honest here. What I don't want, tone-def singers and drummers that cannot keep a beat. Desired members need to be fine at their craft, have genuine talent, and are not afraid to know their limitations, without egos.

EQUIPMENT
Drums...Acoustic with Roland Brains, Pintech Pads, Pro-Gibraltar hardware with REAL Zidjian cymbals, and acoustic Tamas (that seem to collect dust) with 1,000s of watts of Crown and Yamaha into Yamaha speakers & Subs. Can jam in my big garage, during the winter months only....Summer practice place is to be determined.
