I would say that I am in the guitar. I can solo through most Jazz changes. I went to three different National guitar workshops guitar workshops and took lessons most of my life. I've also got a good picking Style with the acoustic for Folk, Americana, and bluegrass. I played in a few different bands ranging from bluegrass to Progressive jam bands. I have played bass, mandolin, guitar and sang lead and background vocals for a few different groups.

Influences

I am heavily influenced by Jam bands such as the Grateful Dead, Phish, and The String Cheese Incident. I also love bluegrass bands like Yonder Mountain String Band and The Imfamous Stringdusters. As far as Jazz 8 love the classics: coultrane, cannonball adderly, joe pass, wes montgomery, ect. And the newer cats like pat metheny, kurt rosenwinkel, jimmy herring, peter brownstein, ect. And I love pretty much all classic rock and some other 80's bands like the Talking Heads and Kool & the Gang. I love it all. Anything that's groovy. Singer-songwriters like Neil Young
