Drummer seeking a group to play with. I'm looking for a group that's trying to do originals, covers or a mix of the two. I'm able to play many styles of music, but rock is my favorite. I have recently been in a classic rock cover band which played numerous gigs in the Quad Cities area, as well as other rock projects. As a drummer, I'm a very rhythm-oriented player, and I believe that keeping the music steady is more important than flashiness or cool fills.
I consider myself a humble person who is always striving for self-improvement, and I'm looking for a group of people who share these characteristics. I try hard not to bring my ego into a practice or a performance. Mostly I'd like to be in a group with players who are willing to work towards getting better together. I think practices, jams, and performances should all be an enjoyable experience for all involved, especially as this is something an audience will react to.
