SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
I love music and I've been playing guitar for 15 years. It even led me to my current profession: audiology. Because of my studies, I never had much time to work with a band until a few years ago in Chicago. I played guitar and did backup vocals with Imposter Radio, a band covering mostly classic rock/rockabilly (Animals, Kinks, Yardbirds, Rolling Stones, Elvis, Cash, etc.) and a few modern hits (Neon Trees, Maroon 5, LMFAO), for 2 years. Since moving to Washington, I was working with a female vocalist on another cover band project. She really worked on my vocals and we had put together a few duets; unfortunately, it didn't work out and we never got to gig. But I've gained a lot of confidence in my vocals and learned a lot about harmonizing, so it wasn't a total loss.
Now I'm ready to get involved with a new group in or near Olympia, preferably either a rock band or acoustic duet. I can pick up covers pretty quickly and I'm open to working on originals as well. But don't expect me to lead the group or spend my days searching for gigs because I already have a day job. I'm in it for fun.
