Hi! I am looking for a Country band. Becoming a known Country music singeris my dream! I have been singing since I could speak practically. I have done A LOT of karaoke and sang some with a band but only because the band invited me up to sing on stage. They already had all of their members so didn't need me on a permanent basis. I sing and at the moment I do not play any instrument but would like to learn guitar. I also write words for songs and am working on writing music as well. I have been to Nashville to a private management group who offered a contract but once I showed it to an entertainment attorney, I found out the contract was not a good one. They wanted TONS of money! Now I would just like to do what I can to get a name and be heard, to learn all that I can about the industry so that I can know what to look for to get started without being signed to something that I will regret later!! Please give me advice or direction if you can! It would be greatly appreciated!

I have my father's guitar but can't play it yet!! I am looking to learn but just can't afford the lessons right now.
