SEEKING
Vocalist, Drums, Keyboard.ABOUT
I'm a 37 yr old multi-instrumentalist looking to collaborate on songwriting and recording with a drummer, vocalist, and keyboardist (all abilities or just one is fine). We could decide together how to share our recordings, or attempt to monetize them. Two out of the three songs posted here are my solo projects, and "Colloidal" was a long distance collaboration (drummer and a different bass player wrote and recorded their own parts). I wrote and mixed all songs.
I play guitar and bass proficiently, intermediate skill level on drums, and I'm beginning to encorporate synth as well. My current focus in songwriting is progressive rock/metal, and clean, ambient tunes, but often a mix of the two feels within the same tune.
If our skill level, commitment level, and desire to play progressive and/or ambient, clean tunes overlap, let's see about testing the waters on a track or two. gsg9911 (at the big one starting with g and ending in mail, you know the one) . com.
I record in my home using my own gear, and I would prefer if you have the ability and experience to record your own parts. Happy to assist in small ways, but collaboration for now will need to be from a distance. I'd prefer to work with musicians that would describe themselves as relatively independent in creating and recording their own parts, and able to operate a DAW (or want to learn how). I've found it to be good experience and fun to do these type of collaborations, I hope you'll consider it if you like what I do.
