Every Threat was formed in 2009 by John Larkin (bass) and Joel Herbert (drums). The basic concept was to produce music that was heavy, dark, groovy, and somewhat complex. For 5 years, we struggled to complete the band, going through a roster of guitarists, and even having a vocalist for a short time. The project was dismantled in 2014, but in February 2017, I began a drive towards reviving the band.
Very sadly, my musical collaborator and good friend Joel passed away in May 2017, just days after his 50th birthday. He will be missed. So Every Threat will not be revived as planned, and I am now working with a new drummer, Brett Wood and an amazing guitarist, Jared Bird. The new band is called The Chamber of the Mountain Kings, and a Bandmix page should be up shortly. Please check back to that page for updated information.
