Hey all! I'm a novice, not a beginner, but not quite intermediate, drummer. I have basic skills and can keep a steady beat. Drumming is mostly a hobby for me, although, if I can find a couple of folks to practice with, I would become a bit more serious. I took drum lessons as a kid (a long time ago!), but have played the trumpet, F-Horn, and French Horn from Jr. High through college. Since then, I've been in choirs, and played the drums in church choirs intermittently. I have my own kit and enjoy playing funk, soul, and contemporary gospel the most. I can also get into pop and rock, but I don't know a lot of rock songs.
