Had this account for awhile but never used it because I ended getting back with my old band. We split last year due to creative differences, and well, after 10 years, it was time. Hoping to actually find someone this time around.
Number one thing I'm looking for is creativity. Avant-garde. I love metal, hardcore, death, etc...the whole scene or whatever, but I'm sick of playing with "metal-heads."
I'm looking for something kind of strange and out-there. I'm open for anything. Elements of tribal, industrial, psychedelic, punk, ambient, electronic, what the fu*k ever. Preferably a combination. Just something intelligent. Fun. Creative. Innovative. Original. Goddamn. There's enough scary metal bands with scary names who sing about scary things. fu*k me.
I want to take upbeat and aggressive music to another level of sophistication. Nothing whiny. Nothing macabre. None of the "look-how-tough-I-am" bullsh*t. It's been played out.
I've played the Detroit metal scene for about 10 years under a revolving band. From Subconscious to Wormwood to Fist of the White Lotus. Opened up for Cannibal Corpse and The Misfits a couple times apiece, as well as Chimaira, Clutch, Biohazard, Kittie, Candiria, 36 Crazy Fists, Immolation, Krisiun, Skinless, Super Joint Ritual and others. We got too "metal" for my liking but fu*ked sh*t up nonetheless.
My vocals are psychotic. I excel in writing and stage antics. I'm probably looking for a band that isn't looking for me...

Heavier side of me likes the Deftones, The Chariot, Dillinger, System, Manson, Psyopus, Zao, Rage, Static-x, The Prodigy, Norma Jean, Sepultura, Nailbomb, Soulfly, Lamb of God, Coal Chamber, Primus, Tool, White Zombie, etc...
The rest of me likes everything but country. From The Doors, Pink Floyd, Richie Havens, CCR, Simon and Garfunkel, Nina Simone, and Jefferson Airplane to Mos Def, Talib Kweli, a little MF Doom, Outkast, 2Pac, and the Beastie Boys. Anything with Danger Mouse or Dan the Automator. Wax Tailor, Portishead, Thievery Corporation, Gnarls Barkley, The Gorillaz, etc...Getting into a lot of Big Beat music now. Listen to a ton of Indie and Folk. Love me some Bob Marley and some Reggae. I can go from Harpo's to the DSO in one night. I can rock out to Oldies and Motown, some Doo-wop ha ha, anything but fu*kin' country music.
