Salutations! As many of you know, the music of today just kinda sucks. Most of it is unoriginal, repetitive sounding and boring. However, I live in a cave and don't get to hear too much out there because it's so echo-e in here. So, I wish to change both of those things.
I am looking for people to jam with and make up stuff first of all. I want to create something new that still has meaning and maybe an older feel but, not....I don't know how to explain what I mean here. Anyway, you know that feeling you get when you hear something melodic, epic, or intense that causes goosebumps? I want to make more stuff up like that with like minded individuals. I am also looking for a new band to gig out with 2-31 days a month with people who are serious about music. If all you care about is how the band looks and not the music (like the last band Vada's Rockhouse that I was in), keep looking because fu*k that sh*t. The Drummer was literally the stereo type of an 80s Jock/Playboy, and the lead singer was a complete c*nt.
I've been playing drums since I was about 15, started bass a few years later and even went to school a year for it, and i've been messing around with keyboards and guitar on and off ever since too.
So with all that said, if we jam and I feel we could work well together then maybe we could write songs. 420 is a must too.

Anything that gives me goosebumps or sounds really cool. I suppose you want some styles and bands huh?
Where to start?....the beginning. 90's and 00's Nintendo, and other video game music like MarioKart 64, Zelda, the beautiful soundtracks of Starfox 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Poke'mon, RainbowSix Vegas, Halo, the amazing Megaman X series, and many more. Rock, alternative, metal, certain types of jazz (mostly bossa nova) , funk, classical some hiphop and more.
Some bands/artists I like would include: Red Hot Chili Peppers (John and before), Incubus, Alice in Chains, Nine Inch Nails, The Offspring, The White Stripes, Stone Temple Pilots, Led Zeppelin, Rage against the Machine, Nirvana, KoRn, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Primus, Old Puddle of Mudd. I also like songs from Celldweller, Jefferson Airplane, Eminem, Ice Cube, Nelly, Sevendust, Guns n' Roses, Judas Priest, Blind Melon, Gary Jules, Pink Floyd, Foo Fighters, Nitro Fun, Breaking Benjamin, Neil Young, Bob Marley, Chevelle, and so many more that I can't think of at the moment.

Bass, 2 guitars, Keyboard, an electronic drumset, a couple mics, a guitar pod, a smaller keyboard amp, a boss loop-station, and an older boss digital recording station. I have plenty of room in my basement and we can be as loud as we want but it's a town house so we could get complaints. It doesn't matter and we've never gotten one but if we do then I'm moving out because f*** that s***!
I also have an acoustic drumset and a bass cab at my parents house.
