Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Keyboard, Background Singer.

ABOUT

We're currently a four-piece band and we're looking for a male lead vocalist who also plays rhythm and/or lead guitar. We have a great female singer (that plays rhythm guitar currently), we just want to add a male voice and another layer to our sound. We also have a very solid rhythm section. We rehearse in Sunol about 1-2 times a month.

Our set includes Santana, Pink Floyd, U2, Tom Petty, Fleming & John, Elvis, Sarah McClachlan, Fleetwood Mac, etc. Looking to do more classic rock.
-----

Though mainly a lead player, I can handle rhythm duties just fine. But I'm most at home soloing, improvising and adding tasteful, well-timed fills between vocals with the backup of a strong rhythm section to hold the grooves and structures of the song together.

I'm not going to classify my playing style as any specific genre (Rock, Blues, Jazz & etc) as I believe that a musician should be "transparent" and play in whatever style that fits the music... But if I must label myself, I would say that my style is very similar to Carlos Santana. I'm not Santana obviously, but I can definitely capture the "flavor" and feelings and pull off most of his signature songs.

I'm not going to bored you with my "awesome" musicianship and/or experiences as I believe the best way to judge a musician's ability is to jam with them... I also believe that chemistries and synergies are very important between musicians and I'm hoping to be in a great band with a bunch of like minded people.

You can reach me at: fancanjam at that "gee male" place (sound it out and you know the rest) if you're interested and would like to start a new music adventure.
