I picked up the bass in 8th grade and I am now a sophmore in college. I've taken three years of music theory, and currently taking a fourth year of college theory and aural skills. I play in the pep and jazz band here at the college.

I like to jam/improvise and connect with whoever I am playing with. My style has a funk base, but I will fuse that with alternative rock and a slight bit of blues. On electric I like to mix walking/running lines with slap and I do like to throw in chords to keep rhythm when the guitarist plays a solo, or if i feel it will add to the song I will play chords as well.

I like to use my Dunlop Overdrive at the climax of a jam and play in the higher octaves to give my bass a guitary sound. I also have a Dunlop Wah pedal for the more funky riffs and to bring out solo's more
