Original country rock artist seeking lead guitar player. I (FC Westcott) have a working band "the Aficionados". I am from Colorado and live part time in Austin, TX. At it's core, this is an original project, as I am a Singer/Songwriter. However, for longer shows and to please the masses etc., we obviously play a variety of tasty covers from blues, rock to outlaw country. We have a strong fan base in Grand Junction and we have open invitations back to its premier venues. We are also expanding regionally, touring Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arizona, Colorado.
A lead player must be high caliber and/or have slide experience or other versatility. I play respectable lead guitar so I am looking for a player with more horsepower, that would add to the band. Some schedule flexibility required, although you do not need to be a full time musician. BG vocals are a plus but not required.
