Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Drums, Keyboard, Piano, Flute, Mandolin, Accordion.

Former full time player from the East Coast. I've played with a tremendous amount of cover bands involving multiple musical styles. Early retired, daily practicer, love playing along with my vast music collection. Still a huge daily listener to a variety of bands / artists as well.

Looking for a cover band doing material related to my influences listed below. Am maintaining a CL ad "Bass Looking For Variety Cover Band (Gilbert)".

The first audio track is from 2009, and was a Zoom portable rehearsal recording of the group working through a new (to us) song. The Playalong tracks are my jamming to various CDs at home last spring (2018) using a Fosto D50 recorder. The Former Startup tracks were iPhone rehearsal recordings done this summer (2018).

The quality on these audio track recordings is enough to hear the bass using a subwoofer speaker system or headphones. Bass does not record clearly with condensor mics (which was the only option available at the time these were made).

Please, no situations involving drugs or drinking during band time. Bar pay is fine, am flexible, willing to do a startup (provided we're all suitable for the material). Not interested in pay-to-play situations or gigs in smokey rooms. Prefer to play out (gig) regularly each month, depending on availability. Rehearsing every week of the year just to play out once a month or less isn't what I'm looking for.

Instrument experience:

Bass Guitar:

Bought all new gear. Fender has really upped its game. The quality across the board is quite good. I'm tempted to do the usual Seymour Duncan pickups / CTS potentiometers / Orange Drop capacitors / Schaller tuners and bridges upgrading I did for years, but the basses sound quite good stock. Will see.
