SEEKING
Vocalist, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Drums, Violin, Trumpet, Keyboard, Piano, Banjo, Fiddle, Trombone, Cello, Accordion.ABOUT
Ferdiad is looking for a drummer and also someone to play miscellaneous instruments (whatever you can play, really. horns, keyboard, or violin/fiddle/cello are pluses). The most important things are that you fit in well, we get along, and you enjoy the music we play. When we write new songs, one person writes the lyrics and usually the melody/chord progression, and everyone else fills their own parts in. We like to play occasional gigs, but once we lost our original drummer and supporting instrumentalist, we realized that our music is missing something. We like our sound to be pretty rich and full, which is hard to achieve with only the three of us.
In sum, we're a group who really loves to play music together, and we like hanging out, too. We are all self-taught musicians, so it's fine if you are too. No elitists here!
PS to prospective drummers: it would be really awesome if you had your own drum kit, as we don't technically own one.
