I like playing power-pop, traditional rock, alt-country, and bluesy rock people can dance to. I don't mind mixing it up. I'm not into metal or punk.
Mature, stable, have a dry sense of humor, my own gear, and I'm reliable. I'm committed to rehearsing and sounding tight at reasonable levels of volume.

Bands with a good sense of melody, songs with hooks, harmonies: the Beatles, Cheap Trick, Old 97s, early Marshall Crenshaw, the Derailers, Fountains of Wayne, Franz Ferdinand, NRBQ.
Music that's fun to listen to. The broader, the better.
EQUIPMENT
Tele through a tube...an acoustic...I also have an accordion (that I can play just well enough to be dangerous) and I play a little harmonica.
