ABOUT

46 year old professional who has playing guitar for over 25 years with a degree in music (but hasn't played in a band in 20 years - been building a career, family, etc.) looking for other musicians to jam with, form a band, and gig if it works out. Want to play classic guitar focused rock. Dream set would include the Stones, SRV, Black Crowes, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Derek and the Dominos, etc.). I'm in a big Stones phase at the moment playing a lot with my 5 stringed Tele tuned to open g.

Some songs I'm currently playing: SRV - Pride and Joy, Tightrope, Cold Shot, Texas Flood. Stones: Start Me Up, Jumpin Jack Flash, Tumblin Dice, Happy, Brown Sugar, Let's Spend the Night Together, Honky Tonk Women, Satisfaction. Stone's version of That's How Strong My Love Is and some others.

Rolling Stones, Stevie Ray Vaughan, blues, huge Black Crowes fan, and all great guitar driven classic rock. 80s metal although that is not the type of music I'm looking to play.
