ABOUT

I am re-entering the world of live music after a few years of being sidelined from an illness and due to living in the middle of nowhere I now accept I need to reach out further. Looking for other multi-instrumentalists and/or people with some chops in the digital realm as well cause I tend to get rather weird chasing some ideas and like for anyone to contribute as much in the moment as possible. Went to Atlanta Institute of Music for guitar studying under Jimmy Herring of Aquarium Rescue Unit, The Dead and their later incarnations as well as now Widespread Panic, then I got frustrated with flaky band mates and decided to get into live looping inspired by Keller Williams and that led to me getting into production!

EQUIPMENT

Wow, I'm not able to dig thru everything at the moment but will give the main ingredients.
Main Guitar:Godin Montreal Special Custom (semi-hollow body single cutaway with Piezo Pickups that blend with the electric mixer and I installed a MIDI pickup and have it hooked to my Synths/Laptops, I run this thru my multiple pedal boards (all true bypass & hard cutoff so no signal pollution or gain staging issues) into a Mesa Engineering LoneStar Special which is a gorgeous blonde with wicker face hooked to a Furman power conditioner as it is VERY FUSSY with its gain and can easily feedback into the semi hollowbody a la Trey Anastasio of Phish who sometimes has issues with this if you have noticed and I use similar phrasing and often VERY long sustain that requires an exact voltage too the amps tubes. I have an old but awesome Fender twin I'm thinking if splitting the signal between the two perhaps.
More looping stations than I remember exactly, a couple Boomerangs, JamMan (original), and a couple delays(such as the Line6) with considerable loop time, and my Boss guitar Synth has a loop option as well I believe. Filled many a night covering whatever I could piece together on those loopers! Buddha Budd-Wha!, 4 analog man modded Boss SD-1s, 2 Ibanez TS's, a Boss Envelope Filter/Synth pedal (has the auto-wah type sound made famous by the Dead and others along with some FAT synth sounds), a MIDI pickup installed to interface it with anything really, but specifically a synth engine I have floor mounted with some expression pedals hooked too it. It can trigger loops, samples or scenes in DAWS like Ableton or Reason, or just used to play the 1000s of samples of literally every type imaginable from the floor hardware.

Couple mixing boards, DI setups and monitors/PA for recording/producing and gigging as well as a Vocal Processor for my Mic that can add harmonies, correct pitch and add several effects.

More MIDI keyboards and Trigger Pad hardware than I care to list as well as nearly every software used professionally.

Oh and a pair of Numark NS-7 turntables with the NSFX on board effects unit for real time manipulation of any parameters imaginable.

There is yet more if you still have questions!
