These videos are recorded at home, so they are a bit tame and don't have that live energy, concert sound, but you get the idea of what my songs are.
Originally, I was playing them a lot faster and much harder when performing in San Francisco and am looking for a drummer and bass player that will help facilitate doing that again. Sorry for the dot com thing, but they apparently won't allow links to other sites on their pages at Bandmix.

What I am looking for:
DRUMS: I am NOT looking for straight 4/4 timing and back-beats and the like. I need a drummer who feels in touch with the drums at an animal level. Someone who can run along beside me as I play my guitar and sing. Drums play a specific role and are not just "time-keepers" and "beat managers". They express an emotional feeling as they roll across the drums.

BASS: Same thing. You are also a unique expressive force in the song that brings a fullness to the sound in a complementary way.

The key requirement for both bass and drums is that all material must be original. Everything that I play is original. All band-mates must also be original. That means, that your playing style is not built from techniques that you copied from others. It means that you have found your "self" in music. Of course, that "self" must also fit the persona that I present on stage. I insisted on a hard rock sound for years, but found myself only after abandoning pre-conceived notions of what my guitar playing "should" sound like, and accepting who I was and putting myself into it completely without trying to steer it this way or that. I am involved in much more than music, but the music is an important aspect of my material. I DO plan on many live performances for the public.
