IMPALE is a death metal band from the south side Chicago metal scene. After 10yrs of playing countless shows, IMPALE is way past their city limits with their name alone. With no label backing us (yet), we have managed to stay alive and get smarter with each passing year. Booking better shows, Smarter promotional techniques and keeping a good work ethic and the WILL to do so, alive. Our goal is to be a presence in the metal scene. Not just in backyards and bars; THE WHOLE DAMN SCENE. The only thing stopping us IS US. After ten years...nothing has stopped us. No pain no gain, this doesn't happen over night. We are past the blood, sweat and tears. There is no pride or ego trips in this band. It is the LOVE for MUSIC that keeps this band alive.

Lets make this very clear- We listen to ---MUSIC--- That means more then one type, not a specific type. Were a death metal band so our Death metal influences are the same as yours, Dying fetus, Between the buried and me, Necrophagist, skinless, etc etc etc. Hell some days we jam fu*kn Berry white, loud and proud. So again We have to many influences.
