To the prospective lead guitarist. We've been a band for approximately 1.5 to 2 years. We aim to play well rounded rock. Sometimes: hard, soft, medium, psychedelic or funky. We aim to bring back decent quality rock to the world. We also aim to play as many gigs as possible and as soon as possible. We’ve recently lost our lead guitarist do to engaging in acts unbecoming of a band mate. Also we have nothing to do with collegiate fraternities.
What we need from you….
-Ages 18-22 (exceptions can be made) and preferably male (sh*t gets complicated). Preferably a student, can drive and are drug-free (exceptions can be made).
-At least have your own electric guitar and effects. Guitar will need tremolo system. We have extra amps, cabs and effects.
-Decently experienced, can pick up quick and play by ear...we don’t have the leads written down or in notation. You’ll have to work off of poor quality demos.
-Feel comfortable with backing vocals…if not we’ll get you there.
-We have established originals and occasional covers (maybe 1 or 2). We’re not looking for a songwriter trying to take over a band or bringing in their own songs.
