ABOUT

We're looking, primarily, for a keyboardist - if you can play other instruments and sing backing vocals (or lead), that'd be great, but playing and owning a good keys setup is what is most important. Many of the bands we want to play have a keyboard/synth/piano-heavy sound. Being able to make different synths sounds would be excellent.

Playing covers and originals of bands not often covered but known to audiences. The songs/genre of music is very important to us - we want to play music we like, play it well and do it in front of an audience that can appreciate that. We're not thinking about playing the stuff you always hear cover bands play. We're not trying to make big bucks and go on tour, we want to play good music, have fun doing it and entertain an audience looking for something other than the norm.

We want to play out, ideally, 2-3 times a month. We'll practice, originally, once a week.

EQUIPMENT

The above have all gear mentioned. Looking for you to be able to produce and play whatever it takes to make cool, varied synth sounds (both gear, ability and musicianship), so the equipment to do that is important. We have a PA and practice space in the NW area of Columbus.
