ABOUT

I have recorded and released 3 albums under my name going back to '96. My basic style is folk-rock/alt country. In the '80's I performed shows with the band that later become Uncle Tupelo, which later split into Son Volt and Wilco. My most recent album was a children's album, Happy Fun, which was on the ballot for the 53rd Grammy Awards. I am also involved with side projects: Fred & Lauren--(best known for releasing a couple of Saints football tribute songs played on B97), Lauren Lottinger (modern rock with an '80's feel), and an electronic project under the name Neutron Wednesday with the first release being a cover of Radioactivity by Kraftwerk. Current plan is releasing singles only. I am primarily a studio incarnation these days, not gigging and not sure if gigging is in the plans, but want to make some connections for possible studio purposes and just in case I put something together for gigs. My music has been played on FM radio in 17 countries. I am a member of ASCAP.
