I'm a 30-year-old tech journalist with an academic background in music performance, specifically classical guitar. I've been playing guitar for the last 15 years and have gotten pretty good. Last year, I started building out my musical endeavors, taking opportunities wherever I could get them. I've got a modest music studio at home now, and published about 100 hours of original music on my last year (it's empty right now though). I primarily play all types of guitar and bass, though I'm not a bad backup singer, and I have some experience with synthesizers and MIDI keyboards.

I'm big into two things: progressive rock and video game soundtracks. My primary influences are Genesis, Rush, Yes, Devin Townsend, and Saga. I've played a wide range of styles, however, from classical guitar, to blues and bluegrass, to indie pop, synthwave—I'm kind of all over the place.
