ABOUT

If you like working with prepared musicians that do their homework , rehearse at rehearsals, bring no vices or baggage into your life and are reliable... we may be kindred spirits.

I have been performing as a frontman since 1985, in 2012 I left my 7+ year project, in a quest for a new direction in which I formed a Trio with a great pair of guys performing 90's and newer HITS from artists such as:
Soundgarden, Chevelle, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains, Godsmack, Local H, Seether, Offspring, Chili Peppers, Tool, Collective Soul, Bush, Toadies, Candlebox, Sponge,Lit, 3 doors down ETC...

I am open to Fronting, playing Rhythm Guitar, Working with serious experienced musicians. As always a Recording minded collaborator to work with would be quite nice!

I am always working on self development, Would love to find a serious guitar player to collaborate with, my current project rehearses weekly and will be performing on Friday/Saturday apx. 1-2 times monthly once a replacement drummer is locked in place.

I would join a good fit goal oriented professional cover band in a Fronting/Rhythm capacity. When I say professional I mean acts that will play gigs in respectable, paying environments... I am not interested in playing venues without a sound man and full sound systems.

I am a Cubase pro 8.5 rookie, so collaborating with other like minded recording musicians also appeals to me!

Have a great day! Good luck in all your ventures.

#1 "(Band Name) is from Las Vegas, and does all kinds of covers. Usually a band will stick to one genre or era when choosing what to cover, but XXXXXXX was a pleasant surprise. Guy (vocals, guitar), XXXX (guitar), XXXXX (bass), and XXXXX (drums) are a tight band with years of playing behind them. You can see that each has a say in what they're going to play if you read the bios on their website. Guy definitely has a great energy moving around the stage, hopping up on speakers, and getting the packed house involved in the set.

Highlights for me included Lit's "My Own Worst Enemy", Soundgarden's “Outshined”, Stone Temple Pilots’ "Wicked Garden" and Rush's "Red Barchetta". Let me say this for the record, I do NOT like Rush. In fact I will change the radio if it comes on, but I actually really liked the cover that XXXXXXX did. I guess the difference for me is in the vocals. The fact that they moved seamlessly through the night from classic rock songs to rock that's more recent is testament to the skill. XXXXXXXX is a lot of fun, and I'm sure that I'll be seeing them again."

#2 “Around 9:30 (Band name) took the stage. Once again I was completely impressed with the energy that Guy brings to a performance. The crowd was full of fans and it certainly brought the energy to a whole new level. All four members of XXXXXXXX are talented, so it's always interesting to see what songs they're going to include in the set. Of course we all have our favorites, but even the songs that I'm not a huge fan of had me singing along.

Some of the highlights of the set were "Outshined", "Man In The Box", "King Nothing" and "Last Man Standing". It isn't everyday that a band jumps from Metallica to Pop Evil with barely a hitch. There were a few missteps, however I think very few in the crowd noticed, and if they did it didn't matter. The vibe was infectious and with everyone on stage having such a great time there was no sitting in the corner picking apart every note. How can you not smile when the grin hits Guys face, he jumps off the stage, and starts dancing with a woman in the crowd?”
