What ever it is, it's got to be Funky. HIT ME!! I've played with funk, dance and r&b bands in the New York area, in the 70s and 80s. When I moved to Texas, I actually fell out of the musical circle for a few years. But the "funk bug" bit me in the ass and I started playing again. I love getting out jam'in with folks. I play weekend gigs or whatever (it's good for gas money). It's important to find the right fit. I also play praise and worship music at a church, and I'm enjoying it.
