Band to Join, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Piano, Upright bass.

ABOUT

As of 1/23/23, looking for:

A very strong, very solid bluegrassy picking crew;

A cool Grateful Dead based jam band (I hate that term);

Working with another solid guitarist on some cool guitar stuff;

A riff-heavy hard rock band;

Accompanying a male/female singer. I can accompany with acoustic 6 string, 12 string, mandolin, acoustic bass (not a stand up), resonator (dobro) or electric.

Would like to get a local group together for a regular Sunday afternoon acoustic picking session. No jam busters, no performers (you know what I mean), no yellers and no pounders...gotta keep it reasonable or it gets too loud and messy and ridiculous.

Would also like to work with people that can pull Rush, Zep, the Stones, the Doors, good stuff, out of their repertoire like it's nothing, people with solid recall and good practice habits. That's my kind of bar set...no interest in new country or Achy Breaky Heart stuff. No new country.

I believe in the self-discipline of practice and expect the same from my bandmates. I love to have a good time but time is short and I'd rather not come prepared when others are not. I love rock, 50's rock, classic rock, bluegrass, metal, pop, jazz...just not new country. I practice, you can too.

I enjoy covers and I enjoy good originals...good is good. My only vision is playing what's in front of me at the time the best I can and being proud that the people around me are doing the same. My attached clips are mostly riffs and ideas.

I don't have Facebook. I'm not a person who needs myself plastered on social media. Just wanna play with some decent people and I'm much too old for the dumb stuff.
