Gaelica is a fusion of Celtic, appalachian and American folk music with a distinctly progressive approach. the band explores the musical migration from the British Isles in America. Gaelica weaves rich vocal harmonies with diverse instrumentation, re-defining musical boundaries, yet maintaining traditional music at it's core. in addition to the traditional instruments of banjo, guitar, and mandoline, Gaelica surprises listeners with stunning oboe performances which are solely unique to the genre. Frequently heard on main stages and concert halls, audiences revel in their passionate, dynamic energy while critis praise Gaelica for their "high level of professionalism and lyric performances."
