I have many songs (with lyrics for a strong singer) and musical ideas I would like to collaborate on with like-minded musicians. I care less about instrumentation than about how symmetrical our taste and goals are.

My greatest hope is to form a band/ensemble made up of members who are able to feel comfortable enough with each other to open up and experiment etc. I want to work with people who bring out the best in each other in the pursuit of a common goal.

The music I downloaded is from a solo project I did in 2016/17. I’ve developed compositionally since then, and I’ve increased my skill level as well. Also I’ve honed in on the sound I’m after a bit more. But it is an early example of what I’m going for - a mixture of classical and rock and folk and whatever.

I’m a work in progress, and I don’t mind if others are as well, so long as the dedication and desire is there. And I have zero preconceived notions on age, gender, or anything else. The music is the only thing.

Firstly I’d like to get together and experiment with songs and ideas I’ve got in the works. I’d then like to do small gigs as we develop a sound and an album of songs. If all goes well, and the music is turning out well, I’d then like to record the music professionally. We could then take it from there - hopefully there would be opportunities for larger gigs and…who knows?

It’s my dream to work with people to create something special. It’s what I’ve always wanted, and I’m at a point in my life where I realize the crucial importance of just making it happen. I’m 45 and I’ve come back to my original life-vision full force. If you think we might be a good fit, give me a shout out - what’s the worst that could happen? If it doesn’t work out, we move on.
