I have been a drummer since I was about seven. I started out playing in a lot of punk and rock n roll bands. Later playing in a rockabilly band, then moving onto metal and now i play everything! I love plying funk and psycadellic rock and progressive styles now.
I am hoping to find a guitarist and/or bassist who are writing music and wants to start collaborating on ideas and even tracking in my studio in order to progress writing and refining. I would like to play progressive music that blends Old and new ideas. I am hoping to find music this express itself mostly through sound and not lyrics. I am not excited about vocals most of the time. There has to be great substance to either the lyrics or the layer of sound being added to be music for me to accept it. Words constantly trick people into thinking, what is average musicianship, that the song is the best because the words are catchy. Though I don't want to play straight John Petrucci shredding that literally is hard to even interpret or hear a melody, but I do want there to be solid musical progression. I'd like to stay away from songs that loop to much and are underlying to redundant.
