ABOUT

I'm coming up with some cool very short riffs about 10 seconds long which would be great for recording with others and selling to the big car, beer, tech, or other corporations for commercials in all forms..

Influences

anything with great tone and the thre Ts I call em...
touch timing and tone tone tone HEY WHERES THE SURF MUSIC GENRE..can I check that here? CHECK! surf stuff like Dick Dale-he signed my strat and its felt and sounded better ever since! I practice every day almost for 20 yrs now but started age 13 many yrs ago
I am most like Carlos Jimi and Stevie Ray trying to be more like Ronnie Earl..now that's a TONE monster with heart and soul. saw him live at Yoshis and tears fell all over that place-front row that night were all pros learning the Vibe from a master.

EQUIPMENT

very old Strat and 2 very old blackface Fender amps
66 deluxe reverb and 64 Vibroverb 15" JBL N.O.S. tubes by hmmm...GE was it?
I like southern rock, funk, R&B, old blues by old guys, anything that sounds like Mark Knopfler as his tone is amazing also. I'm no Morse, Satriani, or Vai. Less is more IMHO - leave s o m e s p a c e cowboys! I love early Stevie Guitar Miller stuff "livin in da USA I've heard that album "Sailor" 1000 times. Trying to do the Chet Atkins roll more now.
Fats Domino played real simple and that's what folks like I've found. Stuff that sticks in your head all day is what sells no?
Ciao!
