Band to Join.ABOUT
Retired Telecom professional and ex hard rocker (in the 70s) and am primarily a lead guitarist looking to join a band or put a band together. I'd also be interested in doing studio work as a guitarist, a bassist or even as a creative producer. I enjoy the writing and recording process and experimenting with music.
I would love to join and band with another Guitarist who also plays Bass, I enjoy playing both instruments and would enjoy taking turns playing both.
My interests these days lean more toward a fusion of blues, progressive jazz/funk and guitar rock, I'd love to be in a band where we can do the covers that make people dance but take the musicianship up a few notches at the same time.

Influences
As a guitarist Hendrix, Zappa and Johnny Winter shaped me as a young guitar player in the early 70s. Then EVH, Steve Vai and Paul Gilbert pushed me further.
I am also heavily influenced by Jazz and Classical music and love Jazz but I am only a fair Jazz guitarist, I do my own Jazz thing which is a Jazz influenced Blues/Rock fusion, with a touch of funk.
The only genre's I am not interested in are: Hip Hop, Death Metal and other dark negative music.
