I’ve been playing bass for quite a while and have developed my own style which is rooted in old school punk (mainly British) and rock. I am not a pocket bass player and have incorporated influences ranging from many great bass players including but not limited to John Entwistle (The Who), Paul Grey & Algy Ward (The Damned), Bruce Foxton (The Jam), Bruce Thomas (Elvis Costello and the Attractions) Matt Freeman (Rancid) , Lemmy (Motörhead) ect. I also play upright bass. Look for like minded musicians who are also proficient with similar influences to start a Street Rock/Punk band. Can you can play melodically and also at break neck speed without resorting to just playing predictable barcords? If so we can talk. I have studio and touring experience. I have opened for many professional touring bands both locally and on the road. Please, No fu*k ups or time wasters.
