Hi! Name's Jaiden, 23 yrs old, I'm looking for a group of fellow musicians to jam with or maybe even start a band with if the vibe is right, I'm cool with any skill level.
I think it would best to get together with folks who've had enough experience with whatever instrument or tech to freestyle with, are secure with where they're at their music journey and can just laugh and pick right back up or try something different if they make mistakes. I won't get annoyed at someone for making mistakes, I will get annoyed if someone makes a big deal about it, putting a halt to an otherwise fun time while they get their sh*t together.
It'd be fun to just start out freestyling along with songs we like, I think it's a great way to figure out some favorite chord progressions and gain influence. I'd love to try songwriting and just see what we come up with! But also, let's not take it too seriously and lose the passion.
I can sing, and my primary instrument is electric guitar (acoustics hurt my boobs XP) I can also play keys as well. I am going to learn how to play bass and drums when I can scrape together the moolah to buy those! :D
I'm into playing many different genres, primarily neo psychedelia, indie pop, electronic, french house, funk, acid jazz, some R&B and hip-hop, synth pop, some classic rock and prog rock, hair metal, and death metal when I can keep up lol... a lot of different stuff. ':)
NOT a fan of country, folk and especially soft-boi indie folk where every other background vocal is "HEY!", bluegrass, most pop-rock, psych-trance, world, the mixing for the vocals in mainstream pop, and underdone mainstream hip-hop (although I will snort laugh at the lyric, "Macaroni in a PAWT, that's some wet ass pussy")
