Hello, my name is Philippe. I'm a 29 years old musician from Paris, France who just arrived in town. I play in the band General Bye Bye - ://./generalbyebye with whom we released 2 records and did 4 tours (2 in the US, 2 in Europe)
I'm currently looking for a solid female singer to launch a new project based around the Finish Harp called Kantele. This is the national instrument of Finland. It's a 38 strings harp which sounds like heaven and nothing you ever heard before. I'm endorsed by the main manufacturer and started to compose on it. I'm looking for someone driven, dedicated, who has some free time. If you play some tambourine, glockenspiel, violon it would be a plus. The project is to set up a crossover between folk classical music and upbeat rythms. Vocally it's important you can sing high. Something between Mazzy Star, Cat Power, Electrelane, Lightning Dust, The Books... I'm all about the music and strive for a true collaboration.
