Band to Join.

‘60s-‘90s rock covers. I’ve played lead guitar out of necessity but would be happy to be the rhythm guitarist. I’m not really a jam band kind of player, more play it like it was recorded. Tell me the title and the key and I’ll work to learn it as best I can.

These experience levels that Bandmix suggests are tough. I know I’m not an expert, and intermediate has a million degrees of definition. I’ll leave it that I’m competent, can play songs from start to end, and have played in a band’s.

Backup vocals where I can. Can sing leads in the right keys, but usually at the sacrifice of playing.

Finally, I have a daytime job. I play in one band already, approximately one gig per month, but that seems to be petering out. Looking to play a little more, while still being loyal to the other band. I enjoy playing out and would like to do it more often.

Many influences over the years. British Invasion, 80’s new wave. Enjoy listening to Beatles, Steely Dan, Little Feat, REM, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Counting Crows, Dada, though I don’t currently play much of that. I can’t argue with the popularity of country, and while I’ve played a few, I’m no chickin’ pickin’ player.

If interested, I can provide a song list of some of what I’ve played over the years.
