I’m a 69 year old bass player. Most of my gigging was back in the 70’s.
Today, I am retired and pursuing playing Bass again. I have been practicing every day and have realized that I still have it.
I love my music and can play whatever genre is required.
Rock, blues, folk and some jazz. I just love the bass guitar.
Currently I am playing a Precision Ultra PJ Bass
and a Fender Pro II Fretless Jazz Bass
I also have a GK fusion 500 amp with an 4-10 cab and I just love it.
Just know that I am an accomplished musician. As a bass player I understand my role which is to be tight with the band and most drummers from the day wanted to play with me. One of my drummers even went as far as saying that I taught him how to play the drums. I don’t know about that but it was the ultimate compliment for me.
In closing, I hope to maybe get the chance to groove with great players again.
