I like most classic rock and some country / folk rock and singer/songwriters male and female. I am going to be 62 years old soon so this music is what I grew up with and in my opinion the greatest music ever recorded.. My skill level on rhythm guitar is intermediate and I've been a lead vocalist in every band I've played in. I was heavily influenced by the 60's 70''s 80's groups but am not opposed to learning current music as well. I would like to meet like minded individuals who can sing in tune and have the ability to harmonize vocally. A Keyboardist with a B3 sound would be icing on the cake but I am open to playing without keys for now I also love the sound of a steel guitar(" Harvest" album). I'm really just trying to get back into music again, it's been my passion most of my life.. I took the last 8 years off to build a house and focus on my career. I have been playing again for only about the last 2 months. The songs I've been working are Wonderful Tonight, Tequila Sunrise, Brown Eyed Girl, In My Life, Melissa, To love Somebody, Solitary Man, and some others. My fingers are still getting a little sore but I'm sure I could hold up for a couple of hours for now. I live in La Center but work in Hazel Dell. I'm not interested in going to Portland to practice but Vancouver vicinity is fine. I do not have a place to set up my equipment yet but that is coming soon with the addition I've add to my house. If you would like to sit around and just jam that would be fine (I need the practice! :>)P.S. I'm not interested in playing high...a couple beers is cool but I'm not into that scene anymore. I can get plenty high just off well performed music. I your interested in getting together drop me a line.
