Hello! I'm a 28-year-old, looking for people not too far off from my age, to make music with. Whether it's starting a whole new band or joining a currently existing/forming one, the important thing is working with people that have the relatively same kind of vision. My music I'd say is hard to say what exact genres it fits into, since I have a wide range of influences with many of them being quite obscure. What I can say for sure is it's all rock of some sort. My recording gear and software, as well as my editing skills, are all pretty bad. And most of those I'm not quite done writing. But hopefully you can get the gist of it. However, I could not write lyrics if my life depended on it. Having someone that is good at that would be quite helpful. I do also completely write out vocal melodies for my songs, if that helps. When the songs play out in my head, I tend to hear a female voice singing them. But, I'm open to being swayed.
In addition to having my own gear, I also own a 10-piece Tama Superstar with mostly crappy cymbals (but they could pass as placeholders in the meantime) that the drummer could use. I also have an okay PA, 3 or 4 mics, and a whole lot of 1/4" and XLR cables. I do have a free roomy space we could practice in for now, but once I have a band that is for sure going, I would like to rent practice space in the twin cities. I really wish this could just go without saying, but is an absolute necessity to have people that really care about this, and prioritize it. People that show up to practice, learn the songs, and are willing to take the steps to bring this further. I absolutely want to play shows, go on tour, and record albums. I want to take this as far as it can possibly go. So, if you don't actually like my music or you're just looking to kill some time, please don't try and waste my time.
