Acoustic Guitar.

ABOUT

I currently perform as an acoustic soloist all around the Charleson, WV area, but I'm also a semi-retired full-time musician who has done everything from touring with a rock band to performing as an acoustic soloist, to playing with duos and trios. I've performed throughout the US and many parts of Europe and spent 10 years performing around Nashville. A notable stint includes playing lead guitar and singing lead vocals for four years with the USAF Rock Band. I can perform almost any genre but I'm planning on staying acoustic, at least for now. I would be interested in a duo or trio with the right layer(s)

My full schedule is under GaryHaysMusic on a social media site I'm not allowed to say on here. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any ideas but pleased be very well experienced and don't have an ego. Hate those things. I'm also a songwriter with a tad of success but that's another story... I'm not looking to do bluegrass. Warning: I gig as often as possible any night of the week, so...

As a note: My music samples were recorded in Nashville while I was living there and were recorded as pitches to the industry so they are very country and not indicative of what I perform.

EQUIPMENT

Down to two acoustics. One is a 1986 Yamaha I've had since it was new. Its got lots of miles and I'm glad it can't talk. It may not be worth much on the open market but it's priceless to me. The other is a Seagull Maritime Solid Wood Burnt Umber. I have a decent PA which is good for acoustic work and I always run my Godin electronics through an L.R. Baggs Para-acoustic DI and my PA is
a JBL EON ONE.
