I am a Composer/Songwriter.
I do music mainly as a hobby but for much of my life I was a professional entertainer. I also am finding myself wanting to collaborate with other musicians. My expertise is Rock and Jazz vocals. I write most of my music playing a keyboard and triggering samples.
I would like to find a guitarist songwriter to collaborate with.
Also my name is Joe Barrila... I write music under the pseudonym J.
I first started playing gigs in the 70's and 80's in disco and rock bands playing trumpet and singing. I included some pictures of that. Then in the 90's I started singing jazz standards in solo to 18 piece bands in clubs and corporate events.
