SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist - Tenor, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Violin, Saxophone, Keyboard, Piano, Flute, Mandolin.ABOUT
I am a 27 year old male singer/song-writer in North West Baltimore County (Randallstown/Owings Mills Area). I sing primarily in first tenor/contralto, but can go higher or lower as needed. I am looking to re-form a band since the disbanding of my former one. I have written over 100 songs. More than anything I am looking for a guitarist, primarily between ages 18 and 36, but I'm willing to make exceptions for people who really fit what I am trying to do. My key influences range from Paul Simon ( with and after Garfunkel) to Sting, to David Bowie ( with whom I share a birthday), to Annie Lennox ( during and after the Eurythmics), to Tina Turner, to Patti Labelle, James Brown, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, COLDPLAY, Tears For Fears, U2, Fiona Apple, to Nina Simone ( for those who really know their music history). There are others, but these are some of the most influential on me. I am looking to practice at least once a week. Again, I can make some exceptions, but no less than once in a two week space. I am not trying to kill anyone with an over drive schedule. I have a life and I know you probably do to, but I do need people with a certain amount of dedication to getting something done. I would like to have some things ready to perform in gigs within a few months at the most. Preferably live within the county limits, unless you don't mind a ride. lol.
