ABOUT

I am a guitarist, producer, photographer, and fundamentally an artist at the core. To me, the life of the artist is as much a work of art as anything they create.

Not to get toooo hippy dippy, but such is my nature: the intention of my music is to create sounds that reconnect people with their own consciousness and with those in the world outside of themselves to aid them in being a part of the flow which cuts through reality rather than a pawn told to swim against it.

I am also a student at the University of Denver, intent on graduating with a degree in recording and production in order to gain the skills to fully produce my own music, as well as advance my proficiency with the guitar. I also study anthropology and world religions with an emphasis on eastern religion and religions of deep antiquity. One of my many hopes for my career is to help people recognize the overwhelming importance of the lessons passed down from these typically ignored ideologies.

Beyond music, I have been a photographer all my life. First having picked up my father’s camera at roughly 8 years old, the first few pictures came to me effortlessly, and I knew I'd discovered one of my best mediums. Ever since, I've been capturing poignant scenes from everyday reality with the hope of exposing deeper fundamental layers to the physical object being studied. To this day I remain an active photographer, nowadays focusing on finding windows of sight through the forest and editing pictures into psychedelic oblivion.

My photography, videography, marketing, and web development background make me a great resource for the creation of promotional materials for any band (including, but not limited to: photo/video shoots, and content, websites, music videos, and advertisements).

I would be happy to offer these services to any band even if you are not interested in adding me as a musician.

Influences

My style is inescapably bluesy in the phrases and expressions, while breaking into rock with tone a bit heavier than blues and closer to the likes of Eddie Hazel and David Gilmour. I am supported by rhythms that take inspiration from contemporary jazz, lo-fi, and pop aesthetics.

This combination bridges the gap between music listeners' desire for the guitar to remain in popular music culture with the opposing trend of trap-inspired beats appearing in nearly every popular song.
