ABOUT

Hey all!

I’ve been playing guitar for about 20 years now, pretty proficient at bass and mandolin too. My banjo skills could use a bit of work tbh. I’m looking for musicians to make original music with, def open to covers as long as we make the covers feel unique from the original version. I’m open to joining a band as well. I write songs, and I’m pretty good at coloring up, and adding a little garnish to, already composed songs as well. I’d really like to incorporate some jammier/improvisational parts into performances. Somewhere in between rigid, structured songs and those 20 min jams that loop back around to Whipping Post lol. Want to try and find a nice balance between those 2 styles.

Anyway, that’s a quick synopsis. Hit me up if you’re interested. I should also note I’m 420 friendly.

EQUIPMENT

6 electric guitars, 1 acoustic, 1 12-string acoustic, 1 resonator, 2 mandolins, 1 banjo, 1 electric bass, 1 theremin (can’t play it, but I hook it up to my delay pedal and futz around with psychedelic whale calls), and 1 sitar, but I haven’t played in a while and it needs a restring. Haven’t found any techs willing to work on it lol.

100w Marshall tube combo, 2 Marshall 4x12 cabs, 8w VHT tube head, 1x15 cab, 115w Peavy SS/tube pre combo.

And finally I have a couple instrument mics and some recording gear, but I’m still trying to learn more about recording in home.
