This was one track that I wrote most of the music and all the lyrics for, on top of sharing vocal duties with our singer/guitarist Andy.

ABOUT

I've been in a number of groups of varying styles, from original folk-rock and punk to simple cover groups, but lately I've been wanting to start up another original group of the noise-pop/post-punk variety, something that walks the line between pop-worthiness and the purely avant-garde/iconoclastic.

Musical Turn-Ons:

Alternate tunings, extended noise/feedback segments of set lists, distortion and pitch bending, and surrealist imagery and lyrics, coupled with upbeat rhythms, tight song structures, and well written melodies. DIY approach, emphasis on music over image, and an existential commitment to make honest music.

Turn-Offs:

Overproduced, in-your-face, image-savvy appeal.

Oh yeah, I also build/repair my own equipment, so forget about hiring a techie when you can have both for the price of one...

Homemade Jazzmaster replica, punked out Squier Telecaster, Deering banjo, Wah-Wah (more of a subtle tonal effect for me), fuzz boxes (Big Muff, Fender Blender), Alesis MidiVerb 4 (mostly used for its reverb algorithms, be it for guitar or with drum tracks), Alesis drum machine, Vox AC30HH 30watt Head, Fender '65 Blackface Bandmaster 40watt Head, generic 4x12" cabinet

***If in a pinch I can get a hold of my brother's bass and amp rig to use, but I currently lack my own.***
