Looking to find musicians that fit the Jethro Tull song 'Too Old to Rock 'n' Roll: Too Young to Die!' Have played for years in different venues and I've got to keep playing. (My instruments told me so!). Play guitar and keys. Have good equipment. I sing lead and backup vocals. Am looking to play public and private events (RAGBRAI, town dances, etc.) and avoid the bar scene if possible. Not looking to fill-in. Update - I am somewhat limited right now because I have something wrong with my lower back. Have all my equipment set up to perform sitting down for now. I'm retired and available most of the time. Influences
Way too many to list, but tend to lean more towards 60's to current rock, southern rock, country rock, some blues (Gary Moore, BB King, Alvin Lee, Joe Bonamassa, etc.) and select country. Play music to please the audience. Luckily, I have been able to perform almost anything that I took on, but I do know my limitations.
